Getting Better and Feeling Stronger

Great weekend with 50 mile Sweet Corn Challenge.  Weather was perfect in low 70’s and the hills were steep.  I did great the first 45 miles, but after the last rest stop, my thighs were burning.  I haven’t ever experienced that before but I think it’s when the oxygen or sugar is burned out of them and you don’t have anything left.  It was feeling that way at the end, like rubber.

Monday bootcamp and boot camp today was tough, but I felt good thru it all.  Wore my heart monitor today and surprised at how much of it was done at 160+

Going biking tonight.
